Considering Kia and Hyundai have been stepping their game up and VW couldn’t give one of their cars away these days, I can’t say that I’m that surprised.

My head just a sploded. Did they accidentally take a customer's car out of his driveway or something? Are they renting this in the "Ford Fiesta or similar" class for $19/day?

Based on the bargain basement price I paid for me new Golf, I’m surprised all rental fleets aren’t VW-only at this point.
Oh, I forgot there’s only a 36k mile warranty. NeverMind.

Only a 36k mile warranty? My ‘15 Golf 4yrs/ 80k km (50k miles) comprehensive and 5yrs/100k km (60k miles) for the powertrain.
